Materials and Custom Packaging Options
Select films, composite structures, printing, lamination, finishing, dimensions, and functional features around your product and performance requirements.
Production and Finishing Capabilities
Explore the processes used to develop film structures, printed substrates, laminated materials, metallic finishes, and multi-layer packaging.
Film and Composite Structures
Material and composite structures can be selected according to barrier level, heat resistance, puncture resistance, heat-sealing performance, shelf-life requirements, and filling conditions. Supported material directions include HDPE, MDOPE, PE, PP, PS, EVOH, PA, aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, degradable materials, and compatible multi-layer structures. Blown films can be configured as 5-layer or 7-layer co-extruded structures, including HDPE- and MDOPE-based materials. Film-casting capabilities include single-layer and multi-layer PP, PS, degradable materials, and co-extruded laminated plastic films with EVOH- and PA-based structures. Retort packaging is available for applications requiring stable performance under sterilization temperatures from 121°C to 135°C and long-term storage. Flexible packaging can also be engineered for recyclable, high-barrier, transparent, lightweight, and other functional requirements.
